I’m thrilled to share that I received 1st Place in the Physical and Applied Sciences Poster Award at the 37th Annual Student Research Forum at the University of Memphis in March 2025. It was an energizing day of conversation and curiosity—presenting my work, fielding sharp questions from judges and peers, and learning from the impressive scholarship happening across campus.

This recognition means a great deal to me because it celebrates not only the results of the project but also the process - many months of designing, testing, iterating, and communicating complex ideas clearly. I’m especially grateful to the mentors, collaborators, lab mates, and friends who offered feedback along the way, and to the SRF organizing committee and judges for creating such a supportive venue for student research.

Most of all, this experience reinforced why I love doing science: the chance to ask better questions, build useful tools, and spark conversations that move our field forward. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the poster, shared insights, or simply cheered me on.
